Buckner Fanning Christian School is now officially and fully accredited at the highest level with Southern Association of Colleges and Schools/Council on Accreditation and School Improvement. SACS/CASI is an accreditation division of AdvancED. AdvancED is also the parent organization of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement and the National Study of School Evaluation.
BFCS is an official Core Knowledge school
Buckner Fanning Christian School has been designated as an Official Core Knowledge School and Visitation Site, which means the school has been personally visited by staff from the Core Knowledge Foundation and been deemed exemplary according to the criteria set forth by the Foundation.
The school has implemented 100% of the Core Knowledge Sequence, submits evaluation documentation every other year to demonstration a commitment to a sound curriculum, and fully participates in the professional development offered by the Core Knowledge Foundation. Visitation Site schools have been designated as model schools for interested parties to visit and see Core Knowledge fully implemented.
