Pasta and Prayer reminder
The Pasta and Prayer dinner will be held 6:30-8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17 in the Fellowship Gym.

Uniform guidelines
We have created a helpful guide for uniform Dos and Don'ts, since there has been some confusion.
PreK-5th girls may continue to wear eaither shorts or skorts; however, Parker will not have any girl shorts for sale.
If you wish to exchange shorts for skorts, Parker has agreed to exchange any shorts purchased this summer, even if they have been worn and washed.
Collect those box tops
Buckner Fanning Christian School participates in Box Tops for Education, a program offered by General Mills to help raise funds for the school.
Students are asked to collect the box top coupons from participating General Mills products and turn them in to their teacher. The box tops are collected each nine weeks and the classroom that collects the most box tops earns a reward. Contact program coordinator Angela Wahl
Extracurricular activities
Several programs are available for students after school or on weekends. They include:
- After-school junior golf clinic at Canyon Springs with PGA director of instruction Brian McMyler. D.J. Jones will supervise. Details

- The new BFCS robotics team will meet after school on campus. Details
UIW Brainpower Connection
BFCS graduates who complete the 8th grade with a B average or better (minimum 3.0 GPA) will be awarded annual $2,500 scholarships to one of UIW’s two Brainpower Connection high schools as well as UIW. This scholarship is independent of any additional scholarships the student may receive. Read more
