Parent Teacher Council

The Parent Teacher Council is a volunteer organization of active, involved and enthusiastic parents, teachers and staff that works to strengthen the bond between home and school.

Services provided by the PTC include:

  • Publish the school phone/address directory
  • Provide volunteers for school functions
  • Help to raise funds to support students and school needs
  • Host yearly appreciation luncheons

PTC committees/activities

Bike Rodeo: The bike rodeo is a pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade event to promote bicycle safety. The committee will work with the San Antonio Police Department in running stations and coordinate bike check-in, awards and snacks.

Box Tops for Education: We encourage all families to cut box tops, tear off soup labels and collect other points to raise funds for the school. The committee will assist in collection and redemption of box tops and also plan incentives for students and parents.

Christmas Market: This annual shopping event promotes unique and home-based businesses in conjunction with the Thanksgiving Feast. The committee is responsible for organizing and contacting vendors, as well as setup.
