" Located on beautiful hill country property near the intersection of Stone Oak Parkway and Evans Road, BFCS was established under the auspices of The Buckner Fanning Evangelistic Foundation in 1998.  BFCS is an interdenominational Christian school family whose goal focuses on sharing the unconditional love and grace of God while offering an exceptional and challenging Core Knowledge based academic program.  We strive to teach our students to learn to love and love to learn.

At BFCS we recognize that children are individuals, each with his or her special gifts and talents.  It is our responsibility to help students recognize and utilize those gifts.  In addition, we provide a safe and encouraging school atmosphere while helping our students acquire a sense of personal dignity and responsibility.  We recognize that genuine positive self-esteem rises through self-respect as a result of hard work, accomplishments, correct behavior, and respect for others.

With an emphasis on instruction in the basic "Three R's," reading, writing, and arithmetic, we endeavor to teach through example the "Three R's" for a happy, productive Christian life.  We believe REVERENCE for God and all of His creation, RESPECT for one's self and one's fellow man, and RESPONSIBILITY, are vital aspects of personal character and we encourage children as they grow in these areas.

Parental involvement in a child's education is a powerful criterion for a successful learning experience.  At BFCS we embrace the belief that a partnership of parents, students, faculty, and staff must prevail.  We have a very active Parent-Teacher council and encourage every parent to be involved.

Our faculty is made up of outstanding, experienced educators who are committed to teaching and nurturing the whole child.  In addition to a superb faculty, classes are kept small to offer optimum individual attention for each child.
